National Honor Society Offers Help

Long Beach High School’s National Honor Society offers free tutoring and homework help in the library after school every Tuesday through Friday from 3 to 4 pm. During this time, NHS students assist their fellow peers in school study and improving their grades in classes.
Long Beach High School’s National Honor Society organized and participated in a field trip to Lido School to Ms. Saracino’s second grade class. High school students read Harold and the Purple Crayon together. Then, the second graders, assisted by their new high school friends, made drawings and wrote about what they would do if they had a magic purple crayon. It was a great experience for all involved, and the members of NHS, as well as the second grade class, are looking forward to meeting again in the spring!
