Movie lovers across the nation got their popcorn ready as they watched the renowned 2015 MTV Movie Awards! The red carpet was rolled out and memories were created as the 2015 MTV Movie Awards took place on April 12, 2015 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California. From chic red carpet fashions to epic performances to ladies swooning as the cast of Magic Mike took on the stage, MTV never fails in making all of their award shows oh, so memorable! There were many highlights of the phenomenal 2015 MTV Movie Awards. Profound actor, Robert Downey Jr. was awarded the “MTV Generation Award” and was honored with the award by his Avengers cast-mates who took on the stage to present him the award. The Fault In Our Stars, which stole the hearts of fans worldwide, was a big winner at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards. Actress Shailene Woodley also graced the MTV Movie Awards stage multiple times as she accepted many awards.

The articulate Shailene Woodley’s acceptance speeches touched the hearts of everyone – including John Green, author of The Fault In Our Stars who shed a tear after hearing her speech. In addition, Fall Out Boy as well as Charli XCX with Ty Dolla $ign and Tinashe got the crowd on their feet with their stupendous performances.
